From selecting and cutting the diamond to designing, setting, and finishing the piece: every step requires expertise, precision, and attention to detail. Step 1
The origin of the diamond
Every Aurore lab-grown diamond begins with a tiny diamond seed. In a controlled environment, carbon atoms build upon the existing crystal structure until a rough diamond is formed.

Step 2
Cutting for maximum brilliance
A rough diamond does not yet sparkle like the diamond you eventually see in an Aurore piece of jewelry. That requires the expertise of a diamond cutter.
The stone is carefully cut and polished, with the angles, proportions, and facets precisely aligned with one another. A good cut determines how light enters the diamond, is reflected, and ultimately returns to the eye.
That is why, when it comes to a diamond, we do not only look at carat weight. The quality of the cut is just as important for the final appearance.
Step 3
Selecting the right diamond
No two diamonds are exactly alike. That is why every diamond is evaluated based on characteristics such as cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. But numbers do not tell the whole story: ultimately, a diamond must above all sparkle beautifully.
We select the diamonds that match our quality standards as well as the design in which they are set. After all, a solitaire ring requires different proportions than a halo design or a tennis bracelet.
Step 4
Independent certification
For larger diamonds (from 0.50 ct.), we have the stone independently assessed by a gemological laboratory such as IGI. Properties such as carat weight, color, clarity, and cut are recorded in a diamond certificate.
Certified diamonds are provided with a microscopic laser inscription on the girdle, which allows the diamond to be linked to the data on the certificate. This is how we guarantee the quality of our diamonds.
Step 5
A design begins with the diamond
At Aurore, we don't design around a diamond; we design to showcase it as beautifully as possible.
The proportions of the setting, the height of the diamond, the width of a ring band, and even the amount of light that reaches the stone from the side, all influence how a piece of jewelry ultimately looks when you wear it.
That is why we are constantly seeking the balance between timeless design and a contemporary look. Not details because they happen to be in fashion at the moment, but designs that we believe you will still enjoy wearing ten, twenty, or thirty years from now.
Step 6
Craftsmanship in gold
When design, diamond, and proportions are in harmony, the piece of jewelry truly comes to life. Our jewelry is crafted from 18-karat recycled gold: the same high-quality precious metal, but with a second life.
For a refined piece of jewelry, millimeters are decisive. A setting must securely enclose the diamond while simultaneously appearing as light as possible. A ring must be sturdy enough for years of enjoyment, without losing its elegance.
Step 7
Setting the diamond
The final fractions of a millimeter make all the difference. The diamond is carefully placed into the setting and secured, ensuring it can be worn safely while capturing as much light as possible.
Every setting requires a different technique. In a solitaire ring, everything revolves around a single central diamond, while in a halo design or tennis bracelet, multiple stones must be positioned precisely in relation to one another. The result must not only be technically sound, but above all appear as one natural, cohesive whole.
Step 8
The final check
Before an Aurore piece of jewelry leaves the studio, it is carefully checked one last time. We look at the finish, the settings, and the overall appearance of the jewelry.
Only when everything is perfect is the jewel carefully packed in the Aurore jewelry box. Ready for the next chapter: being worn.
